After years of creating a master plan, Rover Schultz Community Park is seeing some action. According to a news release from the City of Manhattan Friday, a groundbreaking will take place in October to kick off phase one of the project. The park's master plan was developed by Manhattan Parks and Recreation, working with the National Park Service, and later adopted by the City Commission in 2018. It states park improvements will be split into four phases spanning several years.
