Macon man arrested for Tattnall armed robbery, sheriff says

TATTNALL COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV)—The Tattnall County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) said that they have arrested a Macon man Monday in connection to an armed robbery in Tattnall County.
Deonte Miller, of Macon, was arrested in Evans County and was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, TCSO said in a press release. They also said that Miller was charged with one count of robbery in Evans County.
TCSO said that Miller was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Sept. 16 in the Gooseneck Community of Tattnall County. He was also wanted by the Evans County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) for an additional robbery that happened earlier that day, TCSO said.

Miller's arrest was the result of a joint investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), TCSO and ECSO, the TCSO said.
