PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — About 74% of car seats that were inspected last year were improperly installed or used, according to data from the National Digital Car Seat Check Form. Over a five-year span, more than four million children ages 11 and younger were involved in crashes that resulted in nearly 3,000 fatalities and 547,000 injuries.
