NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Expect another hot day on Tuesday as the same pattern continues that we have been in for the past few days. Look for mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs back in the low 90s. Humidity will stick with us for another day as well. On Wednesday a cold front will approach the area. This will not immediately push through so we will still see temperatures in the upper 80s. Spotty showers will be possible through the day with rain chances around 40%. On Thursday we will have blustery conditions with winds out of the north at 15-25 as Helene moves through the northeastern Gulf. This will also bring lower humidity into the area. Afternoon temperatures will drop into the mid 80s for the end of the week and we will see widespread lows in the 60s by Friday and Saturday mornings.
