Lee Co. Sheriff’s Office mourns loss of one of their own

Darlington, SC (WOLO) — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Deputies say K-9 Mikka was killed during a standoff in Lee County, by the Darlington county line.
The standoff involved 27-year-old Alston Molidin, accused of shooting a police officer in mcbee during a traffic stop late Thursday night.
Mcbee Police Chief Tim Knight said Molidin fired at the officer “more than 60 times.”
The Lee County Coroner’s Office confirmed Molidin died in the standoff.
