What We’re Tracking
Isolated morning showers
Drying out by the afternoon
Significantly cooler week ahead
We're continuing to see scattered showers this morning in our southeastern counties. Rain will continue in that area during the early morning before drying out for the later morning hours. We may even get a bit of clearing this evening before the sun sets.
The cooler air will extend into throughout the work week, with highs sticking around in the upper 60s and lower 70s for today. Wind will be calm, occasionally picking up to 5-10 mph out of the northeast.
After showers end today, our next chance for rain looks to be Tuesday. We'll see a few showers and maybe a rogue thunderstorm. We look to wrap up September with temperatures typical for this time of year.
