We needed the rain (and still do) but this weekend's rain also came with severe storms. Two tornadoes have been confirmed in Indiana. One out of Delaware county near the Yorktown area and the other in Jay county in the Portland area. These tornadoes will be surveyed by National Weather Service offices later today to be given their official ratings. We will be quieter today but with rain returning this afternoon and evening. Some mist and patchy drizzle is around this morning. Widely scattered rainfall will develop this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be comfortable with highs in the mid 70s. Better chances of rain and storms come on Tuesday. The rain will be scattered in nature and last with us off and on from the morning through the evening. A couple storms could be strong to severe, posing a damaging wind threat. Rain winds down Tuesday night with a few spotty showers possible Wednesday. We're warmer and brighter Thursday. Then, our attention turns to the weekend. We are closely monitoring a system in Caribbean that has a high chance in forming into our next named storm. Remnants from this system look to track north and bring us possible rain impacts over the weekend. Stay tuned!
