(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), shots were reported as having been fired at a street racer meet on Saturday, Sept. 22, leaving one person injured. CSPD said that the event happened a little after midnight, in the 300 block of South Academy Boulevard, near Airport Road. The victim of the gunshot wound was a teenager and was driven to another location by friends, where they were found and taken to the hospital. No arrests have yet been made, and as of the time of the report, the teen was in stable condition, according to CSPD.
