Good morning! Due to a stalled offshore low-pressure system circulating to our east, we will be seeing showers on and off throughout the day today and into the weekend. There are several Coastal Flood Advisories in place along eastern Massachusetts out towards Cape Cod, the islands, and parts of the Connecticut coastline as well. Moderate coastal flooding is possible during today and Saturday's high tide cycles. TODAY Hour by Hour // A close look at the upcoming conditions » Cool and damp conditions to start your day today with temperatures staying in the low to mid-60s. There will be a chance for showers on and off this morning with otherwise cloudy skies. Chances for scattered showers continue especially during the early afternoon hours with cool and damp conditions with lots of clouds around. Highs will be cooler only approaching the mid to upper 60s. All of these showers are due to an offshore, stalled low-pressure system centered to our east. It has already brought quite a bit of rainfall with up to two inches of rain in some spots out towards the Cape. Very high rip currents across the south shore throughout the day today as well as into the weekend with very breezy conditions as well and gusts up to 25 mph at times.
