BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- If you're looking for something sweet to snack on, Sweets By J is the perfect choice to make at the Kern County Fair. Erica Quintero, owner of Sweets By J, joined 17 News at Sunrise to talk more about the newest sweet spot. The two desserts brought to the news set by Quintero included a quarter-sized pancake treat, with whipped cream, strawberries, bananas and condensed milk as well as a bubble-waffle bowl treat that had strawberries, bananas, one scoop of ice cream and some nutella. Bakersfield Arts Council previews nearly complete Clean California Art Mural Project Quintero says this is her first time her selling treats but has had a booth selling food at the Kern County Fair for about 11 years. "We are located on Main Street, very close to the center of the fair. Sort of going into the little kid's carnival," said Quintero. Quintero says the mini-pancake treat has been most popular this year at the fair and she thinks it might be because they are easy to walk with and share.
