YOSEMITE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Tioga Road entrance to Yosemite National Park that was closed on Wednesday ahead of forecast snow in the area was subsequently reopened on Thursday.
On Wednesday, forecasters had alerted visitors to Yosemite National Park and other high-elevation areas nearby that the snow expected in the area prompted the decision to close the Tioga Pass. On Thursday, Yosemite National Park announced on social media that the warning was lifted and Tioga Road has reopened.
