Dallas ISD is resetting its five-year priorities, which serve as a guide for student achievement goals and the overall direction of the district.   To ensure the community’s voice is heard, the Board of Trustees will hold Community Listening events across the city of Dallas. Parents, students, staff, and community members are encouraged to participate and play an active role in shaping the future of the district. “We welcome all feedback because, ultimately, this is one of, if not the most important thing that our school board does, which is to set the vision, values, and direction of the organization through our goals and our constraints,” said Trustee Ben Mackey, chair of the superintendent’s evaluation committee. Community members can attend the meeting of their choice and are encouraged to provide feedback through an online survey.  The post Dallas ISD seeks community input on the district’s five-year priorities first appeared on The Hub.
