RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is seeking a suspect in a late August robbery of a business. In a Sept. 19 press release, police shared information on an Aug. 28 early morning commercial robbery. Just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, officers were called to a business in the 4400 block of Commerce Road after receiving report that it had been robbed. According to police, an employee told officers that an unknown male entered the business, forced his way behind the counter and took multiple cartons of cigarettes. He then left on foot. (Photos: Richmond Police Department) The suspect, shown in the surveillance photos above, is described by police as a tall, slim male wearing a green hoodie and dark pants. At some points during the robbery, he wore a dark-colored hat with a white and dark blue design that features skulls and crossbones -- but some of the captured footage shows him without it on.
