RICHMOND, VA. (WRIC) -- A woman was taken to the hospital after police said she was shot in Hillside Court in Richmond's Southside on Thursday morning. According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were called to the 1300 block of Bruce Street at around 7:35 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19 for a report of a shooting. When they got to the scene, the officers found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Police are not looking for a suspect in connection to this shooting but anyone with related information is asked to call Major Crimes Detective K. Hyde of Richmond Police at 804-646-3613.
