AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Soccer kids and theater fans will have a wealth of things to do this weekend, as Austin FC and Zach Theatre both have events happening over the next few days. Weekend Weather forecast Starting with Zach Theatre, "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" is a jukebox musical on stage and it's a winner. It follows the career of singer-songwriter King as she navigates the songwriting of some of her biggest hits, including "Natural Woman," per the Zach Theatre website. The Tony Award-winning musical features an all-star cast. The show has been running since July and was extended by another few weeks, with this weekend marking the closing of the show. The final performance of the musical will be this Sunday, Sept. 22. Those interested can visit the Zach Theatre website to buy tickets, which start at $25. Details on Beautiful: The Carole King Musical Next up is for the soccer kids out there looking to learn from professionals, this Saturday Austin FC will be teaming up with Alianza de Futbol at Parmer Field, to bring back their Chevron Soccer Academy for a clinic and tryout. Kids ages 9-15 will have the chance to learn from soccer professionals through a series of drills. Everything will be inspired by learning science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through the science of soccer, according to the Chevron Soccer Academy website.
