MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating a gas station robbery that occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday. According to a release, the Madison Police Department responded to the BP Gas Station on Gammon Road on Sept. 19 for a report that a group of men had robbed the gas station. Madison man sentenced to 3.5 years in prison following guilty plea of illegal gun ownership The clerk told police officers that a man came in to pay for gas as they closed. The subject paid and left. The clerk closed the store, and the man approached and tried to get inside for a refund. The man pushed inside, broke through the plexiglass barrier, and stole all the money from the register. He then fled in a vehicle with two other men.
