FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A Fort Wayne man accused of multiple counts of rape and sexual battery has accepted a plea deal. Marcus Walker was arrested in March of this year for a sexual assault rape that allegedly took place earlier that month involving a woman he met on social media. In May, he was charged in connection with another sexual assault that took place in 2023. In the plea deal, which Walker agreed to on Wednesday, the Allen County prosecutor's office has agreed to drop two counts of sexual battery. The sentencing request calls for Walker to face six years in prison for one rape charge and four for the other for a total of 10 years. He would then be placed on adult probation for two years. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for October 18, in Allen Superior Court.
