WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Union members with Amalgamated Transit Union Local 618 will vote on the contract agreement reached with First Student. The union represents school bus drivers and aides in Warwick and Jamestown. A tentative agreement was reached on Wednesday, Sept. 18th between the union and the company. A spokesperson for first student told ABC6 in part: We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all of our school bus drivers and monitors for their continued commitment to serve families.
