Metairie-based ORACLE Lighting, a leader in the automotive lighting industry for the last 25 years, announces the acquisition of Corona, California-based Trigger Control Systems, known for its advanced wireless control systems for vehicle lighting and accessories. ORACLE Lighting has designed lighting products and technologies for the automotive aftermarket since 1999. Trigger’s 12-volt power distribution systems integrate with ORACLE’s existing LED products. Tiffanie Hartenstein, ORACLE Lighting Co-Founder and CEO, said her company was drawn to Trigger’s products when they were researching switch control system development methods. “We quickly recognized that Trigger’s products offered exceptional features and quality that set them apart from the competition,” Hartenstein said. “Their controllers are the perfect complement to our ORACLE Lighting LED accessories, allowing customers to maximize their functionality. We’re excited to offer our customers this unmatched level of control and convenience.” Trigger Control Systems specializes in the engineering and manufacturing of auxiliary controllers, along with vehicle-specific mounting brackets and adapters, allowing drivers to easily manage various vehicle systems, such as auxiliary lighting, via the Trigger mobile app, wired switches, or wireless RF switches. Trigger’s product range is compatible with a variety of popular vehicles, from Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs to marine and RV applications. “When you place a Trigger controller next to a competitor product, the difference is immediately clear,” said Justin Hartenstein, co-founder and director of product development for ORACLE Lighting. “The heavy-duty metal construction, compared to the competition’s plastic housings, the heavy-gauge power cables that are twice the size of others on the market, and the waterproof output cables truly set it apart.” Hartenstein added that the Trigger system cuts installation time by removing the need to run wires through the vehicle’s firewall. It also provides wireless control for accessories, dimming, and flashing functions via the app. The control box features fused circuits with LED indicators for quick identification of blown fuses. “Everything is over-engineered for the most extreme environments,” Hartenstein said. “Combine that with the innovative wireless magnetic keypad and an easy-to-use app, and it’s by far the best power distribution system we’ve used. We are proud to offer the Trigger product under the ORACLE brand.” The President of Trigger Jeff Beckman said that ORACLE Lighting shares his company’s future vision and has the resources and industry experience to elevate Trigger’s products and brand. “Trigger has always been a key innovator in the accessory market, offering intuitive control systems that simplify vehicle modifications and empower users,” said Beckman. “With its strong market position and proven track record, I’m confident the brand has tremendous potential for continued growth under its new ownership. Their [ORACLE] commitment to innovation and expansion makes this partnership a natural fit, and I’m excited to see Trigger thrive as part of their portfolio.” ORACLE Lighting has spent more than 10 years on the Inc500 list of the “Fastest Growing Businesses in the USA” and is a former CityBusiness fastest-growing company honoree. In 2022, ORACLE won the Louisiana Lantern Award for Manufacturing Excellence and was recognized as the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Exporter of the Year, as well as a Small Business Champion by the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
