The battleground states, such as Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, for example, have seen a lot of Harris and her opponent, former United States President Donald Trump. Both she and Walz also conducted a grassroots bus tour in Coastal Georgia, adding a stop in downtown Savannah and at Liberty County High School in Hinesville a day earlier. With 16 electoral votes up for grabs, Georgia remains crucial for both presidential candidates. There is a good chance Harris and Trump will return to Georgia before Election Day, November 5. In early August the Harris-Walz campaign ramped up the advertising budget in Georgia, with several of those billboards being in Savannah.
