FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – California Highway Patrol Sergeant Banuelos hopped into action when she noticed a rabbit dodging cars in the middle of the road in Merced County.
In a social media post on Wednesday, CHP says Sergeant Banuelos noticed the rabbit dodging cars in the middle of the road. Along with some help from a passerby, they were able to catch the rabbit.
The CHP described the rabbit as having "some serious moves" and kept evading the sergeant while darting under cars. However, a passerby stepped in to help and the two captured the rabbit successfully.
Animal control was called and the bunny is now safe and sound.
