SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man from Springfield was sentenced to prison in connection with conspiring to distribute fentanyl and cocaine. According to the Department of Justice, 25-year-old Isaias Diaz and Robert Collado conspired with each other to distribute fentanyl and more than 500 grams of cocaine between June 2022 through June 2023. Five Springfield men indicted for fentanyl distribution and firearms offenses Diaz pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine and conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. On Tuesday, he was sentenced to five years in prison followed by four years of supervised release. Collado pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced on December 12th.
