SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- It's been nearly two weeks since anyone has seen or heard from Tyler Weathersby. The Sioux Falls man disappeared after going on a walk on September 4. Now, two of his family members are telling us what you can do to help. Tyler Weathersby is a husband, father, brother and entrepreneur. "He's an artist. He's a creative. He's big into fashion and wanted to change the culture of streetwear fashion. He built amazing platforms that he's continuing to build on social media involved with the fashion industry," Tyler's wife, Monalisa Perez, said. "Tyler is an all around go getter. Tyler is a very hard worker. He works and works and works and works. Tyler has big dreams. He's always dreamed to be in the fashion industry, the music industry," Tyler's brother, Greg Weathersby said. Perez says he left for a walk the morning of September 4 and left his wallet and cell phone at home. When Tyler's older brother got a text the next day, he immediately became worried. "I could see Tyler may have left his house without his wallet, but not his cell phone is not normal. It's not normal at all," Greg Weathersby said. Since his disappearance, friends and family have been doing everything they can to bring Tyler home. "My main focus is finding Tyler and getting him home safe and just figuring it out. I've been in close communication with the detectives. We've hired a private investigator to locate where he may have gone," Perez said. Tyler's brothe is also looking into hiring a private investigator. "It's been 13 days, and me personally, I'm not trying to discredit the Sioux Falls Police Department, but I know how things are handled in bigger cities, and I'm not sure if they have the resources they need to get the job done," Greg Weathersby said. "I can assure you that detectives are exploring pretty much every lead, every possibility we have that has come in. We can't go into details on what we've done or what we need to do. At this point in time, it's not a criminal investigation, but certainly things could change," Sioux Falls spokesperson Sam Clemens said. In the meantime, there are things you can do to help find Tyler. "My main thing is if you have fliers, please go hand them out to people. There is going to be another search party coming up; I want to say sometime this weekend. If anyone isn't doing anything, please come out and help," Perez said. "I started a go fund me. I started a go fund me link account where people can send donations there," Greg Weathersby said. If you would like to donate to the GoFundMe, click here. Those funds will be used for legal accommodations to help find Tyler. To visit the South Dakota's missing person's page, click here.
