FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – What's described as one of the longest-standing koi shows in the country is coming back to Fresno. The Central California Koi Society will host the 44th annual Fresno Koi Show on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodward Park Group Activity Area, which is by the Shinzen Friendship Garden. Both local and those from outside the area will be showing off their prized koi fish in a bid to win awards, which will show which koi fish is the best in its class. As well as showing off the best in koi fish, hundreds of them will also be for sale - with many said to be imported from top breeders in Japan.
