FARGO, ND (KXNET) — A 39-year-old female motorcyclist was seriously hurt Monday evening, September 16, when her vehicle tipped over in construction traffic and she was run over by a camper trailer. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened on I-94 between University Drive and the Red River Bridge around 8:36 p.m. Traffic was backed up and slowly moving due to road construction. The motorcycle was moving forward with the traffic when it tipped to the right, throwing the driver off the vehicle and into the middle of the road. The woman was then run over by a camper trailer being towed by a pickup truck and dragged a short distance. The woman sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Health. She also faces charges of DUI and driving without a motorcycle endorsement on her license. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now Today's Top Stories SIGN UP NOW
