LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Legends pitching coach Arthur Rhodes just finished up his first season in Lexington on Sunday. Rhodes played for 20 years in the major leagues with nine different organizations. He was a relief pitcher for the Reds for two seasons, and also won a World Series in 2011 with St. Louis. Rhodes says he wanted to get back into coaching because of “the love for the game.” He came to Lexington to join his former teammate with the Orioles, Gregg Zaun, who is now the manager of the Legends. “Once you are out of the game you have to work your way back up to being a pitching coach,” says Rhodes. “I will work hard and get myself back up to the major leagues.”   Categories: More Sports, Sports
