COLUMBIA SC (WOLO) – Monday will bring some rather bumpy weather to many areas in the Palmetto State, as what is called “Potential Tropical Cyclone 8” bears down on the Grand Strand.  The storm, which will likely be upgraded to Tropical Storm strength, will make it’s way toward the northwest over the next 24 hours. The impacts on the Midlands will be felt more in the eastern and northeastern areas, but will bring some rain and breezy conditions over a lot of the state.
