The investigation revealed that Earl Duwan Miller, 54, of Woodbridge, and Jermaine Antwoine Lewis, 25, of Springfield, were involved in a verbal altercation outside the car wash.

After the shooting, the suspects fled in their car before Virginia State Police apprehended them along I-95 in Fairfax County.
Responders transported Miller to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
"Very sad, sad situation," said Daniel Ciconte, of Triangle, Va., who drove past the car wash shortly after the shooting happened. "You know the crime situation is really bad...let's love each other and, you know, avoid this situation."
Gunfire struck one exterior wall of a building, but no injuries or additional property damage were reported.
"Let's resolve problems amicably. It doesn't need to come to this," said Ciconte.
Officers arrested Lewis and Neville.
Authorities charged Lewis with second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and shooting from an occupied vehicle. He is being held without bond.
Neville was charged with brandishing a firearm.
