KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs starting running back Isiah Pacheco suffered an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Pacheco left the game with two minutes left in the fourth quarter after landing awkwardly between three Bengals defenders on the Chiefs game-winning drive. Creed Humphrey updates his week one t-shirt ahead of Bengals game Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Pacheco was getting x-rays and undergoing tests for the injury. He also said he doesn't know the severity of his injury. Pacheco reportedly left the game in a walking boot. He will undergo more tests on Monday. If Pacheco misses any time, the bulk of the carries could be split between Samaje Perine and Carson Steele. His absence would also make the Chiefs running back room thin with Clyde Edwards-Helaire missing at least four games on the NFL's Reserve/Non-football illness (NFI) list. It was a solid day on the ground for Pacheco as he finished the game with 19 carries for 90 yards. The Chiefs ended up defeating the Bengals 26-25 on a Harrison Butker 51-yard field goal as time expired, moving them to 2-0 season.
