EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- One person suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and seven other people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday evening, Sept. 15 in El Paso's Upper Valley near Canutillo, El Paso Fire said. The crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. at Doniphan East and Spur 16 and involved at least four vehicles, dispatch said. A total of eight people were transported, including the one person with serious injuries, dispatch said. The Texas Department of Transportation said that all lanes of Doniphan in both directions are closed because of the crash. Clearing time is until further notice.
