BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) — Southern University and A&M College football will be looking to bounce back after their season-opening loss to the McNeese State Cowboys in Week 1. The Jaguars will welcome the Savannah State University Tigers in Week 2 for their home opener for the 2024 season. Kickoff between the Jaguars and the Tigers in the 7th annual Pete Richardson Classic is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 at A.W. Mumford Stadium. "Catch all the action live on HBCU GO Sports, airing on The Grio Cable Network and The Grio Gold streaming channel," said Southern in a Facebook post. Fans will also be able to listen to the game on KQXL 106.5 FM and WBOK 1230 AM, according to Southern University Athletics.
