ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2024 APS metro soccer championships wrapped on on Saturday night. La Cueva and St. Pius played for the boys title while La Cueva and Hope Christian battled for the girls trophy. In the boys match, there needed to be extra action to decide a winner. After a 1-1 tie through regulation and overtime, the Bears won 3-2 in penalty kicks. The Hope Christian girls once again showed their dominance. The Huskies won 3-1.
