A Williston man was killed in an accident on the afternoon of Saturday, August 17, after being ejected from his motorcycle roughly two miles north of Ray. August 17: Minot man injured in pedestrian crash. A Minot local has been rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, and another may soon be facing charges after a crash on the evening of Saturday, August 17. August 17: Man overturns UTV, facing DUI and criminal vehicle injury charges.  A man and his passenger were injured after overturning a UTV in a field. August 15: Commercial truck hits, kills pedestrian in Fargo parking lot. A 31-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning when he was struck by a commercial vehicle while in a parking lot. August 14: Texas driver injured in McKenzie County semi crash. A Texas man was rushed to the hospital and may soon be facing charges after a crash in McKenzie County on the evening of Tuesday, August 13. August 13: Williston man killed in Tuesday morning crash. A 55-year-old Williston man was killed early Tuesday morning when his pickup crashed into a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV). August 12: One person hurt in car-motorcycle crash in Fargo. A 37-year-old Fargo man was hurt Sunday when his motorcycle struck the side of a car in Fargo. August 12: Milnor man killed in four-wheeler rollover. A 60-year-old Milnor man was killed Sunday evening when his ArticCat four-wheeler overturned five miles north of the city. August 12: Mandan woman killed in Bismarck crash. An 81-year-old Mandan woman was killed Friday in a one-vehicle crash in Bismarck. August 6: One seriously injured in three-vehicle DUI crash near Lisbon. A man has been rushed to the hospital with severe injuries and a woman is facing charges after a collision that occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 6. August 6: Driver seriously injured in Williston motorcycle crash. A 39-year-old Williston man suffered serious injuries Monday night when he lost control of his motorcycle in town. August 4: Child injured in crash in Bismarck. A six-year-old was injured in a crash on State Street near the Heritage Center. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 28-year-old Bismarck man was driving a Chevy Trailblazer at a high speed south on State Street when he lost control and drove off the road. August 4: Fatal motorcycle crash near New Town. A man from Watford City died in a motorcycle crash near New Town around 12:05 a.m. on August 4. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 55-year-old man was driving a Honda motorcycle west on Highway 23 when he lost control. August 2: One killed in vehicle-semi crash near Devils Lake. A Devils Lake woman was killed Friday morning in a crash with a semi two miles east of the city. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the semi was traveling east on Highway 2 when a car driven by a 70-year-old Devils Lake woman attempted to cross the highway, cutting in front of the truck. July 29: Cooperstown man killed after Nelson County motorcycle crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 4:03 p.m., the man was traveling north on ND Highway 1 (one mile north of Pekin) on a motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. July 29: One seriously hurt in motorcycle-semi crash near Sterling. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 21-year-old Sterling woman was driving a dirt bike in the west ditch of Highway 83 when she attempted to cross the highway, cutting into the path of an oncoming semi hauling gravel. July 28: Wrong way pursuit takes place in Traill County. A Missouri man has been arrested after a pursuit Saturday, July 27, in which he drove on the wrong side of I-29 in Traill County. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 9:15 p.m., the Traill County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a vehicle traveling south in the north roadway on I-29. Officers pursued the car for roughly 12 miles before the driver pulled into the median near M88 in Cass County and stopped. July 26: Fatal motorcycle crash north of Velva. A 58-year-old man from Karlsruhe died in an animal crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2001 Honda Shadow motorcycle and heading east on 45th street, north of Velva, when his motorcycle collided with a deer. He was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead on scene. July 24: Teen injured in Velva truck crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at around 8:25 a.m., a Freightliner truck was traveling north on 12th Avenue Northeast of Velva when it failed to yield at the intersection with 44th Street North. This caused it to strike the side of a second vehicle (a Honda Pilot) traveling west on 44th. July 22: New Town woman hurt in two-vehicle crash near Minot. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, two vehicles were traveling in the same direction in the left lane of Highway 83. An earlier property crash had forced traffic to the left lane while an investigation was ongoing. The first vehicle slowed in the lane but was hit from behind by the second vehicle. July 22: 2 hurt, 1 seriously, in ATV rollover near Minot. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 43-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were riding the vehicle on 47th Street Southeast when a dog that had been running alongside the ATV suddenly ran in front of the couple. July 20: One motorcyclist severely injured after crash on Highway 20. According to Highway Patrol, a 56-year-old Webster man was driving a 1998 Honda GL 1500 south on Highway 20, while a 47-year-old Pembina man was driving a 2011 Chrysler east.There were also four juvenile passengers in the Chrysler. July 19: One killed, one injured after motorcycle strikes deer in Pembina County. A collision between a motorcycle and a deer on the evening of Friday, July 19 has resulted in the death of a woman, and a man left both severely injured and facing charges. July 18: Watford City woman killed in two-vehicle crash near Fairfield. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the woman was heading south on Highway 85 when she apparently lost control of her vehicle, veered into the other lane and collided head-on with a semi-truck going north. July 16: 2 juveniles killed, 6 others injured in rollover crash near Jamestown. A vehicle filled with seven children and one adult, all from the Cleveland, ND area, crashed near Jamestown Monday afternoon with deadly consequences. Two children were killed in the incident and the remaining five youths and one adult were all injured. July 13: One injured, charged in Amenia rollover crash. A 54-year-old man from Arthur was injured, and will soon be facing charges after a rollover crash occurring on the evening of Saturday, July 13. July 12: Minot youth injured after bicycle-car crash. A 13-year-old boy was injured Thursday afternoon after his bicycle was hit by a car at the intersection of 4th Avenue Northwest and Broadway in Minot. July 11: Man dies in tractor crash near Hettinger. A 62-year-old man was driving a Mack tractor while towing a hay grinder on US Highway 12 at the intersection of Highway 8 when the tractor went into the ditch and rolled. The man was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. July 9: Serious injuries in motorcycle crash near Edinburg. The 63-year-old man failed to make a turn in the road with his motorcycle, went into the ditch, and rolled. He was thrown off the motorcycle in the process. July 9: One injured in Williams County crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at about 5:05 p.m., a Can-Am Defender was traveling north on 147th Avenue Northwest (roughly two miles west of Trenton) when it rolled through a stop sign onto Highway 1804. A Ford F-150 traveling east on the highway attempted to brake, but was unable to stop, causing it to strike the Can-Am in the front driver-side area. July 9: One killed in two-vehicle crash in Lisbon. A 66-year-old Lisbon man, driving a motor scooter behind the semi, tried to pass the vehicle also on the right, ran into the passenger side tires of the truck and was then hit by the trailer. July 5: 1 killed, 3 injured in car-motorcycle crash in Fargo. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driven by a 47-year-old Fargo man went through a red light at the intersection of 25th Street South and 13th Avenue South and crashed into a car driven by a 21-year-old Fargo woman. July 3: Fargo vehicle fire results in cross-state crash. A truck fire on a Fargo interstate has resulted in the total loss of a vehicle, as well as a crash in nearby Minnesota, on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 3. July 1: Juvenile injured in Fargo motorcycle crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old Fargo youth was traveling west at a high rate of speed on I-94 behind a Dodge Ram. As the motorcycle approached the Ram, the van's driver attempted to change lanes to the right to allow the motorcycle to pass —but as they did so, the bike made an abrupt lane change to the right as well. This caused the motorcycle to rear-end the van. July 1: One hurt in single-vehicle crash outside Valley City. A 33-year-old Jamestown woman was injured early Monday morning in a crash near Valley City. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver was heading west on I-94 around 6:33 a.m., when the vehicle left the road and struck the end of the cable median barrier. July 1: Two juveniles hurt in one-vehicle rollover near Valley City. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 6:20 p.m., June 30, a vehicle was heading west on 36th Street Southeast when it failed to slow down for the T-intersection at 121st Avenue Southeast. The vehicle went through the intersection, entered the ditch and went into a roll, coming to a rest in a wheat field. June 30: Bismarck man killed in Ward County crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 11:08 a.m., a Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling southbound on US Highway 83, and began to slow in the driving lane to check on a vehicle stopped on the west shoulder. A Jeep traveling in the same lane then rear-ended the vehicle, before coming to rest in the center ditch. The Mitsubishi came to rest on the shoulder of the road. June 29: Wahpeton teenager killed in Fargo motorcycle accident. A pair of motorcycle crashes in Fargo has resulted in one injury case and one fatality — both of which involved teenage drivers. June 28: Two injured, one charged after Ward County pursuit ends in crash. Two individuals have sustained serious injuries, and one is facing multiple charges after a truck accident on the evening of Friday, June 28. June 27: One person injured in motorcycle crash in West Fargo. A motorcycle driver was seriously hurt Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in West Fargo. June 24: One injured in Fargo crash. A 25-year-old Fargo woman was driving south on I-29 in a Chevrolet Impala when she saw a cat jump from the back of a pickup in front of her and run into the ditch. The woman stopped in the middle of the lane, left the Impala, and ran after the cat. Shortly after the 25-year-old stopped, a 21-year-old Enderlin woman approached in a Buick Lacrosse and rear-ended the Impala. June 23: One arrested after fleeing crash in Stutsman County. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 2:13 a.m., a Chevy Malibu was traveling eastbound on 25th Street one mile southeast of Spiritwood Lake when it left the roadway and entered the north ditch, before coming to rest in a farm field northeast of the roadway. Officers say the driver, a 23-year-old Jamestown man, and the passenger, a 22-year-old Jamestown woman, left the scene of the crash and walked to a nearby resort, and left prior to the arrival of law enforcement. No attempt to report the crash was made by either individual. June 22: One injured in Mountrail three-vehicle DUI crash. A New Town man has been injured and is facing multiple charges after a three-vehicle crash took place on the morning of Saturday, June 22. June 22: One arrested after fleeing crash in Stutsman County. One man is now facing criminal charges after leaving the scene of a vehicle crash he caused on the morning of Saturday, June 22. June 21: Minot man injured in Friday night semi crash. A Minot man is facing serious injuries, and possible criminal charges, after rear-ending a semi truck’s trailer on the evening of Friday, June 21. June 18: Fatal injuries sustained in crash near New Town. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), around 4 a.m., a John Deere 744 Payloader was traveling west with all its lights activated on Highway 23 near New Town when the driver, a 25-year-old man, saw a Honda CR-V, driven by an 18-year-old man, coming up behind the Payloader. The driver of the CR-V hit the rear corner of the Payloader. June 17: Small plane has emergency landing near Hebron. A small crop sprayer aircraft had to make an emergency landing near Hebron Monday morning due to engine failure. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the pilot said he was coming from spraying south of Glen Ullin and was headed back to Hebron around 7:30 a.m. Mountain Time, when the engine started to act abnormally. The pilot had to land in the ditch on Morton County Road 89. June 16: Semi-truck rolls over on Main Avenue exit in Fargo. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 2:00 a.m., a semi was heading south on I-29 when the driver apparently mistook the shoulder of the highway for the 13th Avenue South exit and drove off the road. The vehicle entered the ditch and the fully load trailer caused the semi to overturn on its side. June 15: Four hurt in car-motorcycle crash near Grand Forks. Four people were injured Saturday night when a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and Grand Forks County Road 5 near Grand Forks. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was heading south on County Road 5. The car slowed at the stop sign at the 32nd Avenue South intersection and continued across County Road 5. The motorcycle struck the car on the passenger side. June 14: Four teens injured in head-on two-vehicle crash in Horace. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a Buick and a Honda were traveling toward each other around 11:00 p.m., June 13, on Cass County Road 17. At the intersection of 6th Avenue North, the Buick crossed over into the other lane and into the path of the approaching Honda. Both vehicles struck each other head-on at the intersection. June 13: Vehicle submerges at Patterson Lake boat ramp west of Dickinson. According to the Stark County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle was backing the trailer into the water from the ramp to load a boat from the lake. Authorities say the juvenile driver was apparently unable to stop the vehicle, causing the pickup and trailer to plunge into the water, where both became completely submerged. June 12: Three killed in two-vehicle crash near Lisbon. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, two vehicles traveling toward each other on Highway 27 crashed head-on around 4:18 p.m. The crash caused both vehicles to start on fire after the collision. The drivers of the cars and a passenger in one vehicle died from injuries at the scene. June 11: Semi driver injured in June 11 rollover near Beach. One person was injured June 11 when a semi and trailer overturned near Beach. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the semi was headed east on Highway 10 around 8:20 a.m., not far from the Highway 16 intersection. The 64-year-old driver approached the intersection to turn south on Highway 16. However, the driver apparently took the turn too fast, and the truck and trailer overturned on the driver's side. June 11: Three people hurt in motorcycle-car crash in Dickinson. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a car was going south on 4th Avenue and turning into an apartment complex when an approaching motorcycle hit the car on the passenger side. The 39-year-old male driver of the motorcycle and his 37-year-old female passenger were both ejected from the bike. June 9: Man injured in Drayton DUI rollover crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 4:47 p.m., a Chrysler Pacifica was traveling from Grand Forks heading to Drayton when its driver lost control of the vehicle while westbound on State Highway 66. The vehicle then partially entered the south ditch, then crossed over into the north ditch and rolled. June 9: 15-year-old involved in Walcott crash and vehicle fire. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a 15-year-old male driver from Walcott was traveling northbound on 167th Avenue SE, about four miles north of Walcott and one mile south of Highway 46 when he encountered a deer crossing the road. To avoid striking the deer, the driver swerved his vehicle, which entered the west ditch and drove into a field. The vehicle then became stuck in the field upright, and caught fire in the corn stubble. June 9: Ambulance fire and four-vehicle crash take place on I-29. Northbound I-29 was closed briefly after an ambulance caught fire while carrying a patient and, later a crash involving multiple vehicles occurred. Around 9:15 p.m., an ambulance from Day County, SD was traveling on the interstate when it suddenly caught fire. The driver of the vehicle came to a stop and assisted the other EMT in removing a patient from the back. Later, while the highway was closed, a four-vehicle injury crash occurred roughly one mile south of the ambulance when a BMW passenger car rear-ended another vehicle, which caused two additional northbound vehicles to be struck. Nine people in four vehicles were involved, and at least five were transported to hospitals in Fargo due to injuries sustained during the crash. June 8: DUI crash on I-94 in Fargo. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 23-year-old Fargo woman rear-ended the car ahead of her on I-94. In that vehicle, there was the driver, a 32-year-old West Fargo woman and two passengers, a middle-aged woman and man, both from Fargo. One car on its top, and the other vehicle ended up in the ditch. All the drivers and passengers in the crash suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospitals in Fargo. Authorities say the 23-year-old Fargo woman is facing charges of driving with a suspended license as well as driving under the influence. June 8: Park River man killed after striking tree on Highway 17. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 5:00 a.m., a Ford F150 was traveling westbound on State Highway 17 at the "Hoople Turn" when the vehicle failed to negotiate the curve. The car then continued west, before striking a tree in the north ditch. The 60-year-old Park River driver suffered fatal injures as a result of the crash, and died on the scene. June 7: Man seriously injured in motorcycle crash on Highway 1 near Ludden. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:35 p.m. when a 61-year-old man was driving north on a Harley Davidson motorcycle and crashed into a deer crossing the road. The man was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the road. The motorcycle landed on the shoulder of the road with the deer attached to it. The man suffered serious injuries. June 7: Two injured in crash on I-94 near Jamestown. According to the North Dakota High Patrol, a Freightliner, driven by a 24-year-old Minnesota man was going west on I-94 in the right lane in front of a Ram, driven by a 39-year-old Oregon man with a seven-year-old Oregon girl as a passenger. The Ram then rear-ended the Freightliner, which ran the Ram off the road into the ditch. June 7: Five people hurt in three-vehicle crash near New Town. Five people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 23 west of New Town. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a Ford Mustang going west on Highway 23 was waiting with its left turn signal on to make a left turn onto a gravel road. The Mustang was waiting for a Ford F-150 traveling east on Highway 23 to pass before making the turn. A Nissan Murano, traveling behind the Mustang on Highway 23, struck the rear of the vehicle, pushing the Mustang into the ditch. The Nissan then struck the Ford F-150 that was approaching on the highway. The Nissan came to a stop in the middle of the road while the F-150 came to a stop on the shoulder of Highway 23. June 5: Burlington man killed in crash with train. A 30-year-old Burlington man was killed early Wednesday morning in a crash with a train moving through town. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man was in a truck traveling northeast in a Burlington gravel lot and attempted to cross train tracks near the intersection of Colton Avenue and Railway Street North, when his vehicle got stuck on the tracks. June 4: Semi crash on I-94 dumps 100 gallons of diesel fuel. Approximately 100 gallons of diesel were dumped into a ditch on Interstate 94 near Mile Marker 331 (Casselton exit) when a semi-truck crashed. A 56-year-old Florida man was driving the semi-truck, hauling an empty cattle trailer Westbound when it left the roadway, entering the north ditch. June 3: 6-year-old seriously injured in crash near Grand Forks. A six-year-old from Grand Forks Air Force Base was air lifted to Fargo for medical treatment after the car they were riding in was rear-ended near Grand Forks this afternoon. May 16: Police arrest teen for DUI, smashing into another man's car. A man told police he saw a 19-year-old in a Bismarck parking lot hitting women in the group he was with. The man says the suspect then walked up to his car and damaged it with a knife. The man then told police his neighbor captured video showing the 19-year-old backing up his car and slamming into his. May 15: Nebraska man seriously hurt in car-train crash near Casselton. The 43-year-old driver was heading south toward a rail crossing. A Burlington Northern Santa Fe train was heading west on the rail line just before the crossing. The driver failed to yield and attempted to cross the railroad tracks. The BNSF train hit the front of the man's car, causing it to spin out and hit the railroad crossing sign. May 13: Semi-trailer catches fire on I-29; no injuries. A semi-truck driver was lucky enough to walk away uninjured when their semi caught fire near Fargo on I-29. The semi-truck was driving north through town when the rear semi-trailer axle caught fire. The driver pulled to the shoulder of the road and attempted to put out the flames. May 13: Kulm woman injured in Ransom County plane crash. A private plane had taken off from the Enderlin Airport for an exhibition flight when it suffered an engine malfunction, which caused them to attempt an emergency landing in an agricultural field roughly three-fourths of a mile southwest of the airport. The plane eventually came to rest on its roof facing north of the field. May 12: Casselton 8-year-old killed in dirt bike collision. An eight-year-old was killed on the evening of Saturday, May 11, after striking a piece of farm equipment while riding a dirt bike on a farm in rural Casselton. May 12: Car bursts into flames after Richland County crash, three injured. Two drivers and a passenger have been heavily injured after a collision led to one vehicle being engulfed in flames. May 11: Casselton 8-year-old killed in dirt bike collision. An eight-year-old was killed on the evening of Saturday, May 11, after striking a piece of farm equipment while riding a dirt bike on a farm in rural Casselton. May 11: Car bursts into flames after Richland County crash, three injured. Two drivers and a passenger have been heavily injured after a collision led to one vehicle being engulfed in flames on the afternoon of Saturday, May 11. May 10: Two injured after vehicle veers off Richland County roadway.  Two Missouri women have been injured after being ejected from a vehicle in Richland County on the evening of Friday, May 10. May 9: Highway 1806 reopens following fatal crash. The portion of Highway 1806 has now reopened following a fatal crash. According to NDHP, a Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a 20-year-old Bismarck man, crossed the center line on Highway 1806 and hit a Kenworth Truck, driven by a 46-year-old Mandan man. The 20-year-old sustained fatal injuries and the 46-year-old had no injuries. May 8: Trailer hauling excavator towed by dump truck tips in I-94 crash. According to North Dakota Highway Patro, on May 8, at approximately 6:16 pm, a 31-year-old Minnesota man was driving a Sterling dump truck towing an excavator via trailer and left the road while accelerating on the on-ramp from Sheyenne Street to westbound I-94. May 8: Fargo man suffers life-threatening injuries in I-29 crash. North Dakota Highway Patrol says the Fargo man lost control while negotiating the Exit 63 loop ramp where I-29 Northbound merges with Westbound I-94, crashing the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro he was driving into the guardrail on the outside shoulder. May 7: One dead in semi crash in Mountrail County. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a Volvo truck with a trailer, driven by a 61-year-old Williston man, was driving east on Highway 23 around 8:25 a.m. A GMC, driven by a 30-year-old New Town man, was driving west on Highway 23 at the same time and crossed over the center line, hitting the Volvo truck head-on. The GMC driver died. May 3: Serious injuries in 3-vehicle crash in Ward County. On May 2, around 8:16 p.m., there was a three-vehicle crash about 10 miles south of Minot on Highway 52. A Ford F-150, driven by a 73-year-old Bergen man, was heading east on Highway 52 in the left lane, passing a semi truck in heavy rain. A Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by a juvenile Sawyer male, lost control while driving east on Highway 52 attempting to pass the same semi as the F-150. The Cavalier slid sideways into the westbound lane in front of a Chrysler Pacifica, driven by an 82-year-old Sawyer man with The Pacifica struck the Cavalier on its driver side and debris from that crash struck the Ford F-150. The juvenile sustained serious injuries and the 82-year-old man and the 81-year-old woman sustained minor injuries. May 2: SD man injured in truck trailer rollover crash near Hankinson. A 34-year-old South Dakota man has been taken to Sanford hospital for serious injuries after failing to negotiate a curve in a tractor truck near Hankinson Thursday morning. April 30: 64-year-old Minot woman taken to hospital after crash. A 64-year-old woman from Minot was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a rollover crash on April 29. April 30: Mandan man facing several charges in Jamestown pursuit. The man arrested following a high-speed chase near Jamestown earlier this week is now facing felony charges. Chance Standridge was arrested April 30 after a highway patrol trooper tried pulling him over for speeding on I-94. April 25: One injured in DUI crash on I-94 near Jamestown. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man was traveling east on I-94 about six miles from Jamestown when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and ended up in a slough. April 23: One dead in Bismarck motorcycle crash. An 18-year-old man died on Tuesday, after his motorcycle crashed on Century Ave in Bismarck. According to Bismarck police, the investigation suggests that the 18-year-old was driving at a high rate of speed. April 23: Two 16-year-olds injured in two-vehicle crash near Minot. Two 16-year-old girls were hurt, possibly seriously, following a crash about 12 miles west of Minot. April 22: Minor injuries reported in Minot rollover crash. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, two vehicles — a pickup truck and a small crossover SUV — collided on the highway approximately two miles east of the Magic City. A total of 147 alcohol or drug-related citations were issued. Of those, there were 92 driving under the influence (DUI) arrests. Alcohol-related charges also include 40 arrests or citations for minor in consumption, minor in possession and open container. This enforcement period also resulted in 15 drug-related arrests. In 2022, alcohol was a factor in nearly 37 percent of motor vehicle fatalities in North Dakota.
