Crittenden County authorities make 5th child porn arrest

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department says deputies have made their fifth child porn arrest in two months.
Mohammed Almurisi, 31, of West Memphis, was booked in the Crittenden County Detention Center for possession of child pornography.

The sheriff's department said the arrest was made by the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigation unit after detectives received a tip that Almurisi had the illicit materials.
AR man facing 45 counts of possession of child pornography
Almurisi has been charged with pandering of possessing a visual print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. He is scheduled to have his first arraignment Monday in West Memphis District Court on the felony charges.
The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigation Unit is a member of the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
