BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Meet three dogs that are up for adoption in Baton Rouge on this week's Furry Friends Friday. Chelsea Furr and volunteers of Dante's Hope are here to talk about these three cuties who are waiting on their "furever" homes. First, we have Eeyore. He's an adult boxer/terrier mix who is a sweet, loving dog but he can be territorial of his favorite toys. He would do best in a home that pays special attention to his needs and wants. He would thrive in a home that has older kids instead of younger ones. Eeyore has a reduced adoption fee of $200. Next, we have Rolly. He's an active six-month-old puppy who loves to play. He's a Rat Terrier and Feist mix. Last, we have Pongo who is a "cousin-brother" to Rolly. He's also a six-month-old Rat Terrier/Feist mix. Rolly and Pongo are both crate-trained and potty-trained. They're loving, playful, and ready to be with their "furever" families. They can be adopted together for one family. Want to adopt a new pet? Check out places in Baton Rouge for a cat, dog, other animal If you're interested in a different breed of dog, Dante's Hope has multiple dogs available. You can meet their other dogs by visiting the PetSmart on Siegen Lane on Saturdays. Adoption events are held there every Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. If you can't adopt or foster at this time, consider making a monetary donation to Dante's Hope. You can also support their pet pantry in Central, Barking Hope. You can donate pet food, bedding, litter, etc. Reach out to Dante's Hope if you want to adopt Pongo, Rolly and/or Eeyore. More information about adoptions and donating is on their website and Facebook page.
