LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Kentucky State Police held their second annual KSP Classics, Customs and Cruisers Car Show on Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park. The event supports the KY Trooper Outreach Program, which helps KSP participate in community engagement activities and programs. Hundreds of cars were showcased. Attendees were able to speak with the owners, visit vendor, listen to music and meet the new mascot justice. KSP partnered with Raising Cane’s to give away a gift basket, which included gift cards, a cooler, a hat, a koozie, a plush dog, and more Sergeant Matt Sudduth spoke about what it means to him to hold an event like this. “It shows how much support we actually do have from the communities that we serve,” said Sudduth. “You know, I was talking about sometimes it’s not always a positive outlook on law enforcement but look at we’ve got going on here today. This kind of shows that we do have community support.” If you weren’t able to make it to the car show, don’t worry they will be back again next year.
