You won't need a winter coat any time soon, Denver! Colorado is about to settle into a stretch of unusually warm and dry weather, and it looks like that pattern could stick around through the end of next week.An area of high pre ssure will build over the western United States, keeping storm systems away and temperatures well above average. In other words, its going to feel more like September than November! Gorgeous, sunny and mild weekend across ColoradoThe big change arrives this weekend as high pressure builds across Colorado. Temperatures will climb quickly, running 10 to 15 degrees above average. By Sunday and Monday, highs will reach the upper 60s to potentially low 70s across parts of the Front Range. And this warm, dry pattern isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Forecast models are in strong agreement that above-average temperatures and mostly sunny skies will stick around through much of next week. We could see a brief 'cool down' Wednesday, with highs dipping into the low 60s as a push of cooler air moves into the region. But don't get too comfortable with that change temperatures are expected to rebound Thursday.Looking ahead to next weekend, high pressure may finally begin to weaken, potentially opening the door for a change in the weather pattern. However, forecast models aren't quite on the same page about when that will happen. For now, enjoy the sunshine, because Colorado is staring down a long stretch of mild, dry weather with little sign of a meaningful winter storm.DENVER WEATHER LINKS: Hourly forecast | Radars | Traffic | Weather Page | 24/7 Weather StreamClick here to watch the Denver7 live weather stream. ...read more read less
