ABERDEEN, South Dakota — On Monday evening the U.S. Marshals Service – Dakota Territory Fugitive Task Force located and arrested a fugitive wanted for Murder. The fugitive, a juvenile, was wanted for a shooting that took place in the early morning hours of October 25, 2026, in Arlington, TX, a s uburb of Dallas. The juvenile allegedly shot and killed the victim during an argument at a party. On the evening of Monday November 2, 2026, U.S. Marshals, with the assistance of the Aberdeen Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office, located and arrested the juvenile at an apartment in the 600 block of South Park Avenue. The juvenile was placed in the Brown County Juvenile Detention Center and is currently awaiting juvenile court proceedings and extradition to Texas.
