McDonald’s INDIANAPOLIS — The holiday season is getting a festive new flavor at McDonald’s, with five limited-time beverages featuring cranberry and cookie butter flavors. Zack Wojtowicz, a local McDonald’s owner and operator, introduced the new holiday beverage lineup and gave viewers a taste of the seasonal offerings. The lineup includes the Frosted Cranberry Splash, Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer, Cookie Butter Frappé, Cookie Butter Latte and Cookie Butter Iced Coffee. For customers looking for something refreshing, the Frosted Cranberry Splash combines Sprite with cranberry flavors, cold foam and cranberry sprinkles. The Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer offers another cranberry-inspired option, combining the seasonal flavor with Red Bull, cold foam and cranberry sprinkles. Customers can choose between classic Red Bull and Red Bull Zero. Those looking for a sweeter coffee treat can try one of three cookie butter beverages. The Cookie Butter Frappé, Cookie Butter Latte and Cookie Butter Iced Coffee feature cookie butter flavor, caramel cookie crumbs and sweet vanilla whip. Wojtowicz said the new lineup represents an exciting step for McDonald’s as the company continues expanding its specialty beverage offerings. The company introduced crafted sodas and Red Bull energizers earlier this year, bringing new flavors and combinations to its beverage menu. Wojtowicz operates six McDonald’s locations in the Greenwood and Shelbyville areas. He said the holiday season is an opportunity for customers to enjoy something special, whether they are shopping, traveling to visit family or making their regular morning coffee run. He also shared a little about what he enjoys most about owning McDonald’s, saying the opportunity to work with great employees and make children smile is one of the best parts of the job. McDonald’s also has more holiday surprises planned, including an upcoming seasonal partnership that Wojtowicz teased during the interview but kept under wraps. The five new holiday beverages are available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s locations.
