COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged a 35-year-old man after a fraud investigation. Lonnie Johnson Jr. has been charged with two counts of forgery valued at less than $10,000, presenting a false claim for insurance payment valued at $10,000 or more and presenting a false claim for insurance payment valued more than $2,000 but less than $10,000. Johnson Jr. was booked into the Claredon County Detention Center. The South Carolina Department of Insurance will be prosecuting the case.
