Superintendents in Indiana districts with operating referendums have warned of severe cuts that will come if referendums are not approved. IPS’ leader warned of cuts from $45 million to $50 million, and “massive disruption” including staffing freezes, program closures and a pullback on students services. Noblesville Schools could face a 20% staff cut, the closing of an elementary, and reducing or ending some academic programs, student services and extracurricular activities.
