RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News chatted with a special guest from RVA Galleries on Tuesday about their 2nd annual Veterans Day Market and Cornhole Tournament. 8News anchors Delaney Hall and Madison Moore were joined by RVA Galleries founder Cara Dickens to learn all about the event. The market will feature food trucks and local artisans, Dickens said. Competitors in the cornhole tournament will also have the chance to win prizes. A portion of the event's proceeds will go to Liberation Veteran Services, a Richmond-area nonprofit that supports homeless veterans. "Their whole mission is to provide homeless veterans with resources," Dickens said. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Stratford Hills Shopping Center.
