Detectives identified Jose Jesus Cornelio-Aguirre, 18, of San Pablo, as a prime suspect after "receiving an outpouring of cooperation, support, and information from the community," police officials wrote. Ramirez was found shot to death inside a red Toyota car that was parked in a residential neighborhood on 16th Street just before 2:30 p.m. on October 25. Within 48 hours of finding the victim's body, detectives tracked down Cornelio-Aguirre and took the teen into custody.
