RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Flying Squirrels' most anticipated Halloween event is returning this weekend. 8News anchors Delaney Hall and Madison Moore spoke with Megan Angstadt, vice president of fan and community relations, as well as Richmond's favorite duo Nutzy and Nutasha, about Squirrel-O-W een returning this weekend. Organizers said the event will feature hayrides, pumpkin decorating, live music, a costume contest and candies around the ballpark. "It's an annual tradition that we've been doing since the very beginning, and this is the first year we're going to hold it at CarMax Park," Angstadt said. "It's a fun but safe, free place for kids and families to come do their trick-or-treating and celebrate Halloween." Squirrel-O-Ween will take place on Friday, Oct. 30, from 5-7:30 p.m. at CarMax Park. Visit the Flying Squirrels for more information. ...read more read less
