CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former Charlotte City Councilwoman Tiawana Brown says she will self-report to federal prison in one week. That’s according to a post on her Facebook page. Last month, she was sentenced to serve ten months for her role in a pandemic relief scam. Brown and her two daughters pl ed guilty to wire fraud for fraudulently obtaining more than $146,000 in COVID relief funds.
