The findings are based on interviews with 720 Oakland residents conducted over a nine-day period that ended Sunday. 46% said Oakland is headed in the right direction, while 36% said it’s headed in the wrong direction. For comparison, in 2024, only 12% said the city was headed in the right direction, compared to the 75% that said it was headed the wrong direction.
