RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Off the Hook with Matty D is taking you to the Salmon River in Pulaski, New York. The Salmon River is world renowned for its run of Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, Steelhead, and Brown trout which swim upstream out of Lake Ontario to spawn. King Salmon season is coming to an end on Salmon River, but DiNardo says Steelhead and Brown trout fishing are picking up. Experts say it could be another incredible year for those species.
