(WRIC) -- Richmond warned residents after an inmate escaped from Chippenham Hospital on Sunday night. The inmate was later found on Monday morning. On Sunday, Oct. 18, the Richmond Police Department (RPD) said that law enforcement was searching for an escaped inmate who fled custody after he received medical treatment at Chippenham Hospital. On Monday, Oct. 19, Chesterfield County Police told 8News that Quick was found and arrested. Officials said that at around 8:30 p.m., Devin Jacob Quick escaped from the hospital and was last seen in the 1200 block of Apex Road in Chesterfield County.
