RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond is warning residents after an inmate escaped from Chippenham Hospital on Sunday night. On Sunday, Oct. 18, the Richmond Police Department (RPD) said that law enforcement was searching for an escaped inmate who fled custody after he received medical treatment at Chip penham Hospital. Officials said that at around 8:30 p.m., Devin Jacob Quick escaped from the hospital and was last seen in the 1200 block of Apex Road in Chesterfield County. Authorities have created a perimeter and are searching the area for Quick. Quick is pictured below and is described as having medium-length brown hair and brown eyes. Residents are advised not to approach Quick if spotted but to call emergency services immediately.
