Courtesy of Lancaster County Corrections. LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 15)–Two people from Lincoln, who are accused of abusing two children, have been arrested on charges of child abuse and child sexual abuse. Court documents show that an 11-year-old Lincoln middle school student told a school social work er about repeated sexual abuse by a 45-year-old Lincoln man, who is the boyfriend, of the child’s 37-year-old mother.  Lincoln Police say the girl told the social worker the sexual abuse had been happening the past four months. A school resource officer was told about the alleged abuse and talked to the 11-year-old girl, in which she provided more details.  The girl said in a later interview another 14-year-old girl had also been sexually abused by Ronaldo Santos.  LPD investigators interviewed the 14-year-old girl, who said she had seen the younger girl being physically abused by the mother, Sharon Pascoe.  Court documents also show the 14-year-old shared details about the alleged sexual abuse by Santos. LPD says when the teen tried to report the alleged sexual abuse by Santos, Pascoe apparently didn’t take the allegations seriously.  Investigators met with Pascoe and Santos on Tuesday, where court documents show Santos denied any sexual contact and Pascoe denied being told about the suspected abuse. Santos on Wednesday was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, third-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts of child abuse and two counts of sex trafficking of a minor.  Bond for Santos was set at 10% of $750,000.  Pascoe has been charged with two counts of child abuse and her bond was set at 10% of $500,000. Both are due back in court Nov. 18. ...read more read less
